Visiting Gold Creek Country Club is a must if you find yourself in the nations capital with half a day to spare. Located in the prestigious Nicholls Estate and two minutes away from some of Canberra’s leading tourist attractions Gold Creek provides Canberra’s only true country club experience.
Gold Creek Country Club provides state-of-the-art facilities accommodating golfers of all levels. An 18 hole, par 72 course, a first-class driving range and three practice holes are available for all players.
We have 65 motorised golf carts available along with equipment hire and a fully stocked pro shop retailing equipment, apparel and accessories. Steve Whitelock our PGA golf professional is available to provide lessons to members and casual patrons 7 days per week.
Gold Creek Country Club has recently completed converting its fairways to drought tolerant couch grass. This initiative commenced in October 2007 (stage 1) and completed in February 2009. Our pure bent greens provide some of the best playing surfaces you’ll find anywhere. Combine this with the Bruce Devlin designed championship layout and you have a course to satisfy everyone from the beginner to seasoned professional. Our signature holes are the short par 3 7th and the long par 5 14th where the views of the Brindabella Ranges are breathtaking. The course is open to the public 7 days a week. Green fees start at $30 for 18 holes midweek Memberships are available for less than $90 per month
Gold Creek Country Club strives to be the number 1 public access course in the Canberra region and Number 1 in the Canberra corporate golf market. On a national scale the goal is to get Gold Creek back into the top 100 golf courses in the country.
