HOW IT COMPARES
The Z-STAR is a high-performance multilayered ball with low compression
and extremely soft feel. This offering is the softer of the two Z-STAR
balls which provides exceptional feel around the greens and distance
control with the putter. This ball performs best with driver swing
speeds between 80mph and 105 mph.

I was given one of these balls by a friend because I have only used Pinnacle Gold Precision Yellow balls. I have used Titleist ProV1 balls but found that errant shots were exacerbated by the unforgiving nature of the Pro V1. I didn't find the feel around the green worth the change to Titleist and....I prefer a yellow ball.
The Z Star knocked my socks off. I lose 10-20 metres in distance with the driver and my best with Z is about 260 metres, but if I choose... the balls sucks back off the green with the spin it generates from a lob wedge. I'll trade the distance lost for the accuracy when I chip any day. The Z is also more forgiving on a miss hit shopt than a ProV1.
I'll use nothing else from now on. Amazing ball
