Titleist® AP1 irons are advanced performance, multi-material irons that
offer more forgiveness, solid feel and improved looks for the aspiring
to skilled golfer.
Key improvements to the new AP1 irons add forgiveness without
sacrificing shot control - factors previously thought to be mutually
exclusive. AP1 is more forgiving because of its more efficient, high MOI
design while also featuring a more traditional appearance with a
progressive blade length throughout the set.
Forgiveness, solid feel and improved looks. Advance your game with the
new AP1 irons.

Scarily good! In my 60's and due to health and age loosing distance with Maxfli Revolution irons with True Temper EI70 regular flex graphite shafts. Tried Mizuno JPX800, Cleveland CG16 with senior flex graphite shafts. Mizuno's OK but didn't feel that good off the face nor any longer than my Maxfli Revolution irons . Cleveland CG16 were a little longer but felt dead off the face plus both of these had loft creep i.e. 7 iron with a 6 iron loft of older models and so gave a false comparison. Then along came the newly released AP1 712 irons. Had two hits with a demo 6 iron with R shaft - PURE MAGIC - felt so sweet off the clubface. With the combination of the clubhead design didn't need to go to the senior shaft and now hitting the distances that I was hitting in my 40's which I didn't think woud be possible. HIghly recommended - try yourself to be convinced.

Demo-ed the AP1 712 irons last weekend, I currently play Callaway X-18s and so demo-ed the new Razr irons as a comparison......there was no comparison, the Titelist irons looked great at address and the ball flight, control and feel were fantastic. Ordering some today !!

I like the look and feel of the club and it also gives bit of forgiveness on off centre hits
