adidas Golf Go-To Collection
adidas has released their new Go-To Collection—and these high-performance garments made from recycled materials is set to shape the future of golf apparel.
The innovative collection features the company’s PRIMEGREEN technology in an effort to reduce plastic waste in products and tackle their carbon footprint. By 2024, adidas has a goal to ensure all their shoes and clothing is made with 100% recycled polyester, so every product will be either recycled, recyclable or can return to nature. adidias says this apparel alone won't end plastic waste, but it will get the world a step closer to 350 million tons of virgin plastics produced globally every year.
The environmentally responsible adidas Go-To Collection includes Go-To Polo, Go-To 5-Pocket Pant & Shorts for men, Go-To Short for women, Go-To Skort and the Go-To Commuter Pant.
Go-To Polo is the centerpiece of the new adidas collection and is made with 89% recycled content. The men’s garment is a short sleeve shirt that features a set-in raglan cut in the back. This design element gives the adidas Go-To Polo a sporty look and increases mobility and range of motion. The rich, cotton-like feel polo uses a flexible collar construction—it’s the company’s latest innovation that allows the polo to easily be pulled over one’s head when fully buttoned. And, like a t-shirt, the Go-To Polo won’t lose its shape! Go-To Polo for women is offered in both a short-sleeve and sleeveless option. It is assembled with an open placket for easy wear and contains side slits for increased versatility. All Go-To Polos offer UV50+ sun protection.
Other garments in the new line include Go-To 5-Pocket Pant and Shorts for men. These cool and dry feel modern-looking pants and shorts feature a stretch waistband and a water repellant finish.
The light and stretchy Go-To Short for women, includes two front pockets, one back zipper pocket and an elastic waistband with drawcord.
The Go-To Skort comes with an elastic waistband and drawcord. It also contains attached inner short tights, front and back pockets and side zip pockets—ideal for tees, ball markers etc.
Adidas designed the Go-To Collection with more than sustainability, performance and style in mind. The new line of smart-looking garments are versatile for golfers to wear anywhere, whether heading out to the first tee, or off the golf course.
