Bushnell Phantom 2

Bushnell Phantom 2

If you’re searching for an easy to use golf distance measuring device, set your sight on the new Bushnell Phantom 2. Recently launched by Bushnell, the makers of the No. 1 laser rangefinder on the PGA Tour, the Phantom 2 is the company’s latest innovative GPS model. The Phantom 2 is the next generation GPS product with many technological upgrades as well as new features from its predecessor—the Phantom.

Upgrades include the larger display interface, which has increased to 2.2” from 1.9”. This provided the means to increase the text height of up to 40% making the Phantom 2 easier to read. Developers upgraded ‘BITE Technology’ in the new model. Backed by an integrated, high-powered magnet, the Phantom 2 is easily attached directly on a cart bar for quick and easy yardage readings. And, the Phantom 2 offers plenty of lasting power with its upgraded battery offering 18+ hours—more than 8 hours longer than the Phantom.

New features in the Phantom 2 add more support to better serve golfers of all abilities. The Phantom 2 introduces Greenview distances with moveable pin positions. This offers the user more accurate distances. And, the Phantom 2 now presents ‘Dynamic Green Mapping’. This enhancement provides measurements in relation to the golfer’s line of play. The Phantom 2 also has the ability to revers its display from black text on a clear background to clear text on a dark background.

Other highlights of the Phantom 2 include more than 38,000 golf courses preloaded with up to six hazard and layup distances per hole. The convenient golf GPS comes with a belt clip and is supported in 12 languages. The Phantom 2 integrates seamlessly with the Bushnell Golf Mobile App to provide all course updates and additional course information.

The Phantom 2 is offered in four colors—Gray Camo, Neon Orange, Bright Royal Blue and Black.
