Paradym Family
Callaway launches into 2023 with the release of its Paradym family of clubs. The impressive range includes drivers, fairways, hybrids and irons. And, according to Callaway, the revolutionary line up features ‘the world’s most advanced driver face designed by artificial intelligence’. Plus, the brand’s 'most powerful forged iron ever'!
There are three drivers in the range. Paradym, Paradym X and Paradym Triple Diamond. Callaway reimagined how to build a driver from the ground up with the following features found in all models. Paradym drivers are crafted with an industry-first 360° Carbon Chassis that eliminates titanium from the body. The Triaxial Carbon crown and Forged Carbon sole is up to 45% lighter than a titanium chassis. With significant weight savings, engineers repositioned mass in the clubhead for greater MOI resulting in a club that is more stable at impact that offers more forgiveness overall. The drivers include an upgrade of Callaway’s Jailbreak Artificial Intelligence design. The new Jailbreak system boasts a 33% lighter weight design that delivers greater stability in both the horizontal and torsional directions for faster ball speeds. Callaway says Paradym drivers contain the world’s most advanced driver face designed by artificial intelligence with its all-new A.I. face optimisation engineered to boost ball speed and launch. And, Paradym drivers are crafted with a powerful face using the combination of the face cup with a forged titanium face. This industry-leading face cup technology launched with Paradym drivers produces a higher energy transfer to the ball than the standard driver face insert. The Paradym driver model with its refined shaping and moveable perimeter weighting is fashioned for golfers of all skill levels. According to Callaway, this model offers the best combination of distance, forgiveness and adjustability. Paradym X is best suited to players looking for extreme forgiveness and a draw bias. This model displays a generously stretched profile at address and is built for a high launch. The more compact looking Paradym Triple Diamond is designed for better golfers who enjoy working the ball. This model delivers the lowest spin rates and lowest launch angle for a more penetrating ball flight.
The family of clubs includes three fairway wood models—Paradym, Paradym X and Paradym Triple Diamond. A number of key technologies are included throughout the range starting with the Artificial Intelligence designed Jailbreak Batwing structure, This innovation is positioned to the perimeter of the clubhead to stiffen the body and allow optimal face flex for greater ball speeds. Each model contains a high-density tungsten speed cartridge to position the center of gravity low and forward within the clubhead for more distance and better launch and spin. Paradym fairway woods are crafted with Callaway’s new A.I. designed high-strength face cup. Customised for each model, the unique face pattern uses a super strong C300 maraging steel face cup for more speed and consistency across the entire face.
Two hybrid models add further value to the range of woods in this brilliant series. Paradym Hybrid is a mid-sized, wood shaped club. Paradym X Hybrid best suits golfers seeking a full-sized, wood shaped club. Both models are fully loaded with technologies aimed to delver more distance, versatility and forgiveness. Callaway’s all-new Tungsten Speed Cartridge pushes the center of gravity low and forward for lower spin and greater ball speed. A.I. Jailbreak with Batwing Technology allows face flex for higher ball speeds across the entire face. Paradym hybrids are built with a high-strength 455 Face Cup and designed using A.I. to optimise spin rates and ball speeds. An all-new Cutwave sole improves turf interaction with an increased camber on the leading edge to make these hybrids extremely versatile to use whether from the fairway or thick rough. And, Paradym hybrids feature an adjustable hosel sleeve with the capability of +2*/ -1* of loft.
The Paradym family of clubs is complete with two irons models to choose from. Paradym Iron offers a refined shape with premium forging for the golfers searching for a players’ distance set. Paradym X Iron presents a confidence inspiring shaping with a thicker topline and forgiving sole design. The world-class irons share a range of features and benefits. Paradym irons contain industry-leading A.I. face technology that is employed to a high-strength forged 455 face. Callaway says this uniquely optimised face is the brand’s most powerful forged iron ever. An all-new Hollow Body design with Speed frame construction supports the ultra strong Forged 455 Face Cup adding stiffness to the body and stabilise a thinner face for greater ball speeds. Engineers adopted a dual Tungsten Weighting system with external and internal weights meticulously positioned to improve launch conditions and add ball speed to mis-hit strikes. And, Paradym irons contain a forged face and Callaway patented Urethane Microspheres for exceptional feel and a premium sound.
