RTX 6 ZipCore Wedges
The all-new Cleveland RTX 6 ZipCore Wedge is on the market. And, this classic-looking family of wedges is packed with technologies aimed to cut strokes from your approach game around the greens.
The keys that make the RTX 6 ZipCore wedge the ultimate short-game weapon include three breakthrough advancements—HydraZip, ZipCore and UltiZip technologies. The ability for RTX 6 ZipCore to produce high spinning shots begins with HydraZip technology. This crafty feature involves engineers using dynamic face blasts and a laser-milled line system to create roughness across the clubface. The course finish enhances friction with the golf ball at impact to maximise spin in all conditions. Cleveland testing presented 43% more spin in wet conditions with the RTX 6 ZipCore than the previous generation wedge. Delivering consistent results is important also! That’s why Cleveland uses ZipCore technology for the ultimate forgiveness and trusted performance. This low-density core innovation expands the sweet spot and pushes the center of gravity behind the impact zone to help golfers achieve more consistency with their distance, feel and control. RTX 6 ZipCore wedges are built with UltiZip technology to further offer high-spinning and consistent shot making. UltiZip features grooves that are sharper, deeper and tightly spaced. This combination allows the club to slice through all lies giving golfers more control to attack the pin.
RTX 6 ZipCore wedges are available in four different sole grinds and a variety of lofts— LOW: Available in 58-60 degrees, LOW+: Available in 54-56 degrees, MID: Available in 46-60 degrees and FULL: Available in 54-60 degrees. The LOW+ sole grind is new for 2023. This C-shaped sole is featured on sand wedge lofts with two degrees more bounce for improved bunker play.
