Srixon 2021 Z-STAR Series Golf Ball

Srixon has launched the 2021 Z-STAR Series—it’s the seventh generation Z-STAR Series from the celebrated global leader in golf ball technology.

Srixon has used a number of innovations to engineer a golf ball that will more effectively suit better golfers.

To improve tee-to-green performance and produce unparalleled feel, the seventh-generation Z-STAR contain a 0.6mm cover. It’s the thickest cover Srixon has adopted over the years in the continued development of the iconic Z-STAR Series. The thicker cover enables more spin and control around the greens. This new feature combined with the company’s revolutionary FastLayer Core increases ball speed to boost overall distance.

Z-STAR Series use Srixon’s new 338 Speed Dimple Pattern. Aerodynamically designed for optimal flight performance, the new dimple pattern causes less drag and creates more lift. This technology adds carry and total length with drivers, woods and irons. And, improves the ability of the ball to fly straighter, even in windy conditions.

Stopping power is another characteristic golfers look for in their golf ball. With this in mind, the new Z-STAR and Z-STAR XV golf balls feature new Spin Skin technology with Slide-Ring Material. The super soft urethane coating includes a new compound with flexible molecular bonds. This allows the cover of the golf ball to dig deeper into the grooves of wedges and irons causing an increase in friction to produce more spin and control. The use of Slide-Ring Material in golf balls worldwide is exclusive to the all-new Srixon Z-STAR Series.

Srixon says the latest Z-STAR produces the highest green-side spin of any ball in their range. While the Z-STAR XV with its reformulated core for faster ball speed, will allow players to discover greater distance.
