Milled Grind 3 Wedges
TaylorMade proudly introduces Milled Grind 3 Wedges—it’s the company’s latest offering to improve greenside performance and slice shots off your score.
To deliver added precision on short game shots, TaylorMade engineers built on the Tour-validated performance of RAW Face Technology with the evolution of the all-new Raised Micro-Ribs.
RAW Wedges are preferred by better golfers as the unplated surface material will rust over time. This finish works to preserve consistent spin and better performance in wet conditions. Raised Micro-Ribs go a step further to boost those advantages. Each micro-rib is 0.02mm tall by 0.25mm wide. These ribs span the entire face and are positioned between the traditional grooves creating a textured surface. The abrasive area improves the interaction between clubface and ball to deliver optimum spin on every shot.
Milled Grind 3 Wedges include a scratch finish on the toe to combat any issue of glare off the clubface at address. This is an additional feature when compared with the Milled Grind 2 model.
Engineers discovered improvements to sound and launch by altering the Thick-Thin Design of Milled Grind 3 Wedges. Player testing revealed better sound and feel responses after the precise placement of mass in the best location optimised the club’s center of gravity.
The versatile series of wedges includes four player-inspired bounce/ sole options.
Low Bounce will help the club glide through the turf with less resistance. LB contains a sole geometry with the leading edge sitting closed to the ground promoting smoother turf interaction. Low Bounce loft options: 56°, 58° and 60°.
Standard Bounce provides more forgiveness on a variety of shots. SB features a slightly wider sole and the sole geometry is composed to increase playability. Standard Bounce loft options: 46°, 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58° and 60°.
High Bounce is suited to players with a steep angle of attack and softer playing conditions. HB features a slightly wider sole and includes an increased camber for smoother turf interaction. High Bounce options: 52°, 54°, 56°, 58° and 60°.
Low Bounce, Standard Bounce and High Bounce also feature added trail edge relief. This design element delivers versatility allowing the player the confidence to open the face up to hit finesse shots around the green.
TW Grind was inspired by Tiger Woods. Designed to be supremely versatile, TW Grind makes it possible to open the face for flop shots, while still providing relief on the leading edge for better performance on tight lies. The TW Grind is available in custom offerings with lofts of 56° or 60°.
