Stealth 2 Drivers

The groundbreaking carbonwood family includes four drivers; Stealth 2, Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2 HD and Stealth HD Women’s.
TaylorMade launched the original Stealth model 12 months ago with tremendous success in the general golfing market and within the professional ranks. Stealth 2 Carbonwood drivers utilise the speed of Stealth with new technologies to craft a new extreme of driver performance.
Stealth 2 drivers feature a new face design with an upgraded version of TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology (ICT). This includes the clubhead engineered with a thinner face on the edges and a thicker center face allowing more speed distributed around the perimeter of the face. This clever design produces a larger sweet spot to boost ball speed on off-center strikes and maximise forgiveness.
Stealth 2 is the result of TaylorMade’s endeavor over the last five years to increase the usage of carbon in their drivers. The newest generation Stealth contains a carbon crown, a carbon reinforced composite ring, a carbon sole and the 60X carbon twist face. When compared to first generation Stealth there is a 75% increase in carbon in Stealth 2 Plus and nearly double in Stealth 2 and Stealth 2 HD. By crafting a primarily carbon-based head, engineers were able to position mass within the clubhead to achieve the optimal center of gravity location for improved launch, spin and ball speed.
A range of technologies contained in the original Stealth driver remain in Stealth 2. The 60X Carbon Twist Face encased by a polyurethane nanotexture cover to improve launch ad spin for more total distance. The Inertia Generator is the secret to Stealth’s aerodynamic prowess. The slick-shaped Stealth 2 drivers feature a slippery fast head design to help all golfers generate greater swing speed. TaylorMade’s Thru-Slot Speed Pocket is another consistent inclusion within the brand’s product range. This design is engineered to improve ball speeds and offer more forgiveness on low-face impacts.
Stealth 2 Plus will be offered in 8°, 9° and 10.5° lofts. Stealth 2 and Stealth 2 will be available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts. Stealth 2 HD Women’s comes in 10.5° and 12° lofts.
