Stealth 2 Fairways and Stealth 2 Rescues
TaylorMade Stealth 2 Fairway Woods and Rescues have landed! Built to assist all golfers, the new Stealth 2 fairway and Stealth 2 rescue family boasts breakthrough moveable weight technologies and versatile designs
Stealth 2 Plus is the flagship model of the fairway series, which features a heavy 50gram sliding weight on the sole. There are three main settings allowing golfers to adjust the weight to best fit their swing or playing conditions. Each setting offers its very own performance characteristics. The middle setting is considered the standard position to best fit a wide range of players. TaylorMade says it produces mid launch, mid spin, powerful distance and it is the most versatile setting for playability off the tee of off the fairway. The front setting reduces spin and offers a boring trajectory for more distance. The back setting is considered the most forgiving position and ideally suited for golfers seeking higher launch, more spin and improved performance from off-center strikes. Stealth Plus 2 also features a FCT Loft Sleeve with +/- 2° of loft to allow golfers to dial in their club to fit their playing needs.
Stealth 2 fairway is an upgrade of the original Stealth fairway, which was the most played fairway on the PGA Tour in 2022. The successful fairway contains a slightly lower profile 3D carbon crown that draws the center of gravity down and drags mass away from the high tow area. This allowed engineers to strategically place more weight rearward resulting in more forgiveness and greater playability. TaylorMade’s iconic V Steel sole is included in Stealth 2 fairway. This revolutionary technology drives weight lower in the clubhead for a deeper center of gravity and improves turf interaction for better ball striking on a variety of lies.
The Stealth 2 fairways series includes the all-new Stealth 2 HD model. The ground-breaking design was constructed to maximise forgiveness making this the ideal model for golfers searching for an easy-to-hit option. Stealth 2 HD features an oversized 200cc head for a confidence-inspiring look. Its large, low-profile sole hugs to the ground at address and makes it easier to produce high launch. And, internal weighting assists a draw-bias ball flight for better control.
Stealth 2 Plus fairway will be offered in 3/15° and 5/18° lofts.
Stealth 2 fairway will be offered in lofts of 3/15°, 3HL/16.5°, 5/18°, 7/21° and 9/24°. Stealth 2 HD fairway will be offered in lofts of 16°, 19° and 22°. Stealth 2 HD Women’s fairway is offered in lofts of 16°, 19° and 22.
TaylorMade introduces three Stealth 2 rescues models—Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2 and Stealth HD. This is the first time the brand has released a trio of rescue clubs within the same family. The tour-inspired Stealth 2 Plus contains a compact shape that affords itself to enhanced shot making. The sleek looking model combines the control and workability of a long iron with the added forgiveness of a rescue. Stealth 2 contains a center of gravity lower than compared to the original Stealth rescue. This more centered position helps to optimise launch and spin. Stealth 2 features a mass pad located at the back of the club to further boost forgiveness and performance. The all-new Stealth 2 HD model has a larger buy lower overall profile. An internal draw-bias weighting system produces higher launch. The easier-to-hit model introduces higher lofts than traditional rescues to help players with moderate swing speeds launch the ball faster.
Stealth 2 Plus rescue will be offered in lofts of 2/17°, 3/19.5° and 4/22. Stealth 2 rescue clubs will be offered in lofts of 3/19°, 4/22°, 5/25°, 6/28° and 7/31°. Stealth 2 HD rescue will be offered in lofts of 3/20°, 4/23°, 5/27° and 6/31°. Stealth 2 HD Women’s rescue loft options include 4/23°, 5/27° and 6/31°.
