Drivers, Fairways, Hybrids & Irons

Welcome to the Carbonwood age! TaylorMade launches into the New Year with the all-new carbon face Stealth driver family. And, they say this is the most advanced and precise driver on the market!

The company’s latest and craftiest suite of drivers introduces the brand’s historic technological innovation that was twenty years in the making. The four-model new driver family includes the Stealth Plus, Stealth, Stealth HD and Stealth Women’s.

For two decades, TaylorMade engineers have been exploring the use of carbon faces in the belief the titanium-era would reach its limit and therefore another material would be required to take driver performance to a new benchmark.

Stealth Drivers feature 60 layers of carbon fiber. The lightweight carbon material provides weight saving that allowed engineers the ability to build a lighter and larger driver face. Stealth is 11% larger than TaylorMade’s SIM2 driver. The CarbonX Twist Face is more efficient at impact optimising energy transfer for greater ball speed. Although Stealth has a larger face, it has been aerodynamically designed for speed with engineers using an asymmetric Inertia Generator to shape the clubhead for ultimate momentum.

Stealth drivers contain a nanotexture cover. The innovative thin polyurethane product covers the 60 layers of carbon to provide a strong and flexible striking surface. And, to achieve more forgiveness on all strikes across the clubface, engineers added Twist Face and Thru-Slot Speed Pocket technologies to the nanotexture cover.

Stealth Plus is the lowest spinning driver in the family. It contains a 10g sliding weight track to help golfers control their shot shape.

Stealth uses the weight savings gained by employing carbon over titanium to reposition weight low and deep in the clubhead. This provides 200-300 rpm more spin when compared with Stealth Plus.

Stealth HD has a similar spin performance with the Stealth model with the added feature of providing greater draw-bias. This is achieved by shifting weight closer to the heel.

Stealth Women’s utilises the make up and benefits of Stealth HD with a lighter head weight for an easy, high-launch driver.

Stealth Fairways & Hybrids
TaylorMade Stealth ‘woods’ boast the use of carbon across its entire product line. The offering is complete with the release of the all-new Stealth Plus Fairway, Stealth Fairway, Stealth Plus Rescue and Stealth Rescue.

Stealth Plus Fairway contains an all-new infinity edge carbon crown. This offers a surface area that is 12% larger compared to TM SIM2 Titanium fairways. Engineers used the weight savings gained by using carbon rather than titanium to reposition mass for greater forgiveness.

The Stealth model has a slightly larger profile than the Stealth Plus (190cc vs 175cc). Stealth features an all-new 3D carbon crown and C300 Twist Face technology to achieve the ultimate combination of distance and forgiveness.

Both models contain TM’s Thru-Slot Speed Pocket technology, which increases face flexibility for better results on low-face strikes. Stealth Plus and Stealth fairways have been finished with an advanced laser alignment aid. The laser-etched pattern stretches across the top of the face delivering a clean looking but powerful alignment tool.

Stealth Plus and Stealth Rescue have been optimized based on feedback from some of the world’s best golfers. Both models contain a high-strength C300 steel face for explosive ball speeds. TaylorMade’s Twist Face design and hyper-flexible Speed Pocket offer maximum ball speeds and tremendous forgiveness.

Stealth Irons
Stealth irons are TaylorMade’s latest game improvement iron and they have been engineered to deliver faster ball speeds.

Stealth Irons are powered by next generation Cap Back Design with toe wrap construction. TaylorMade introduced the multi-material Cap Back Design with the SIM2 Max and SIM2 Max OS models. The revolutionary concept replaces the steel back of the iron with a low density, polymer composite cap. This construction delivers greater ball speed and improved forgiveness as the face has the ability to flex without affecting the center of gravity. Working is unison with the flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket technology, Stealth Irons feature a larger sweet spot.

Toe Wrap construction allowed TaylorMade engineers to build even more performance into the Stealth game improvement iron. The advanced engineering feat repositions mass from the extreme high toe of the clubhead into the low sole area. The shifting of weight lowers the center of gravity to increase launch angle and produce higher ball flight, long carry and more stopping power.

And, Stealth irons look great too! Designers drew inspiration from the brand’s successful P-700 series to build an iron that is visually appealing and will modernise the look of a game improvement iron.
