Titleist Vokey Design SM10 Wedges - Delivering Lower Flight, Better Feel and Maximum Spin

Titleist Vokey Design SM10 Wedges - Delivering Lower Flight, Better Feel and Maximum Spin

The game’s most played wedge on Tour just got better! Welcome to the new Titleist Vokey Design SM10 Wedges. Australia’s Cam Davis who is one of 20 professional golfers on the PGA Tour who has already moved to the new superbly designed wedges for the 2024 season.

Master Craftsman Bob Vokey has engineered the new family of short game clubs to focus on three key areas to achieving successful wedge play.

SHOT VERSATILITY:

Experience unparalleled short game creativity and shotmaking prowess. These wedges offer a comprehensive range of loft, grind, and bounce combinations. SM10 Wedges include six varying tour-proven sole grinds (F, S, M, K, T and D). In total, there are up to 25 unique loft, bounce and grind options, making SM10 the ultimate choice in wedge play for golfers seeking precision tailored to their unique swing types, game styles, and course conditions.

Unleash the full potential of your short game as the Vokey SM10 wedges deliver the ideal turf interaction and optimal strike position (grooves 2-5). This results in a controlled, lower flight with increased spin, delivering consistency with every shot.

DISTANCE AND TRAJECTORY CONTROL:

Achieve unparalleled distance and trajectory control with the new optimised, progressive center of gravity (CG) in Vokey Design SM10 wedges. In the 46-52° models, the lower CG enhances the transition from the iron set, ensuring consistent distance gapping. The CG is strategically positioned closer to the center of the face, reducing excessive draw movement and providing a more solid feel, as validated by Tour player feedback and testing.

For lofts ranging from 54-62°, the CG is moved up and forward, resulting in a lower trajectory and a squarer face at impact. The loft-optimised CG ensures a controlled flight, enhanced feel, and tighter dispersion throughout your wedge setup.

MAXIMUM SPIN:

Elevate your spin game with Vokey’s patented Spin Milled groove cutting process. The SM10 wedges feature TX9 grooves individually tailored based on loft and finish. Narrower and deeper grooves adorn the stronger-lofted wedges (46-54°), while wider and shallower grooves grace the higher-lofted wedges (56-62°). There’s a parallel micro-texture between grooves to maximises spin on partial shots. A high-frequency heat treatment doubles the durability of the groove edge compared to untreated grooves.

SM10 Wedges embrace confidence-inspiring progressive shaping by loft and consistent profiles across the range. Experience a smaller profile and straighter leading edge in lofts 46-52°, fostering confidence and precision. Meanwhile, lofts 56-62° boast a larger footprint and a more rounded leading edge, enhancing shot versatility and inspiring players at every level.

Since 2004, Vokey Design wedges have dominated the PGA Tour, consistently holding the title of the most played wedge. In the 2022-23 PGA Tour season alone, Vokey models claimed a commanding presence, representing over fifty percent of the wedges in use by professional players.
