Hot Launch C522 Range

Tour Edge welcomes in the New Year with the release of its C522 range—the competition spec family of golf clubs includes, driver, fairway, hybrid and irons.

Designed for better golfers who possess medium to fast swing speeds, C522 boasts a variety of scientific features aimed to give low to mid handicap golfers an advantage on the golf course.

C522 ‘metalwoods’ (driver, fairway & hybrid), include Tour Edge’s very own Diamond Face/ Cup Face Technology. This breakthrough technology features different thick and thin diamond shapes located behind the face, which produces a hotter clubface through impact. These shapes act as mini trampolines for faster balls speeds and improved performance on off-center strikes. Tour Edge first introduced this breakthrough technology last year in its C521 range. The new C522 range of woods includes Diamond Face 2.0. Engineers upgraded this technology in 2022 to include more diamond shapes behind the clubface and therefore enhance the sweet spot of each club compared to 2021 models. C522 Driver contains 42 (39). C522 Fairway has 42 (29). And, C522 Hybrid includes 40 (29).

A Power Channel located deeper on the sole of the club behind the face is another attribute of the C522 metalwood suite. The Power Channel provides improved weight distribution and optimsed face flexing to deliver faster ball speeds with less spin.

The Power Channel in combination with rear sole weighting offers more forgiveness at impact across the clubface, including shots struck lower on the clubface. A strategically placed weight in the extreme rear of the clubhead is housed in Tour Edge’s all-new deep center of gravity casing. The back weight provides added stability at impact and boosts launch off the clubface.

And, C522 metalwoods include an upgrade in acoustic engineering—just to make sure they sound and feel as good as they look. Acoustic Resonance Channels visibly displayed on the sole of the clubhead bounce noise inside the club to deliver the ultimate sensory experience.

C522 irons contain plenty of high-tech features too! Made from ultra soft 431 stainlees steel for optimal feel, Tour Edge engineers introduced VibRCor Technology to its Hot Launch model for the first time.

VibRCor is a high-grade thermoplastic polyurethane positioned in the deep undercut pocket. The extremely durable and flexible material dampens sound and vibration while enhancing perimeter weighting for optimum forgiveness and increasing ball speeds.

C522 irons feature a deep 360 degree Undercut Cavity to add further forgiveness, power and consistent performance. Designed with a wide sole to lower the club’s center of gravity and improve turf interaction, the new irons promote cleaner, high-flying shots. Other benefits include a carefully placed toe weight to increase the sweet spot and offer exceptional feel off the clubface. And, C522 irons are built with a lower and deeper center of gravity to make them power-lofted and the ultimate long-distance iron to aid players of all levels.
