Max Homa
2021 Genesis Invitational
Max Homa collected his second PGA Tour title at The Genesis Invitational. The 30-year-old overcame Tony Finau at the second playoff hole.
Homa carried 14 Titleist clubs and used the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x models now boast four consecutive wins on the PGA Tour. The company owns victories at six of the seven starts in 2021.
Homa used the new Titleist TSi3 driver to successfully navigate the challenging Riviera Country Club layout. With a high value placed on approaching the firm and fast putting surfaces at the Californian course from the short grass, he was well paced at T11 in driving accuracy for the week.
The now world No. 38, finished the four rounds T10 in greens in regulation. And, he was near perfect from the sand, making saves from 10 out of 12 attempts including his clutch up and down for birdie at the 71st hole to join Finau at 12-under and make the playoff.
