Max Homa
2021/22 Wells Fargo Championship
Max Homa endured difficult weather conditions to manage a stunning victory at the Wells Fargo Championship. The 31-year-old American carded a final round 2-under 68 to score his second win of the 2021/22 PGA Tour wrap-around season. It was his second Wells Fargo title after claiming his maiden PGA Tour win at the event in 2019.
Homa, a Titleist brand ambassador, now owns four PGA Tour titles.
The world No. 38 produced 18 birdies and one eagle during the four rounds. He was third in the field for Strokes Gained: Off the Tee and fourth in Strokes Gained: Putting.
With his win, Homa advances to 6th position in the 2021/22 FedExCup standings.
