Max Homa
2021/22 Fortinet Championship
Max Homa enjoyed an incredible weekend to score a stunning victory at the Fortinet Championship. The 30-year-old American carded back-to-back 65s on Saturday and Sunday at Silverado Resort and Spa to record a one-shot win over compatriot Maverick McNealy.
Homa, a Titleist brand ambassador, now owns three PGA Tour titles.
The world No. 44 ended the week with 24 birdies and two eagles. Homa produced his second eagle for the week at the 12th hole on Sunday when he holed out his Vokey Design wedge shot from 95 yards for a two at the par 4.
And, when he needed to putt out, he was very handy with the flatstick too! Armed with his Scotty Cameron Phantom X, Homa ranked second in the field for Putts Per Green in Regulation (1.577).
With his win, Homa takes 1st position in the 2021/22 FedExCup standings.
