Scottie Scheffler

2021/22 The Masters

America’s Scottie Scheffler became golf’s latest major champion after winning The Masters. The 25-year-old won by three shots over Rory McIlroy. Scheffler’s win was his fourth PGA Tour title in just his last six starts. The Texan fired rounds of 69, 67, 71 and 71 at Augusta National Golf Club to reach 10-under.

Scheffler poured in 21 birdies for the week—the second most by any player. His unlikely birdie at the 3rd green on Sunday when he holed out a difficult chip shot was a key moment during the final round.

With his win, Scheffler remains in 1st place in the 2021/22 FedExCup standings.
