The XXIO 12 Series has hit the market! The stunning family of clubs includes Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids and Irons. Purpose built to help golfers with a moderate swing speed realise their potential, XXIO engineers crafted the lightweight and easy-to-use clubs with a range of specialised technologies to boost performance.
XXIO 12 Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids and Irons each share a number of key advancements. XXIO power is driven by Rebound Frame Technology. The woods contain four alternating layers of stiff and flexible zones. The cleverly crafted composition acts like a spring within a spring to propel the golf ball even further. XXIO Irons comprise of a thinner face and grooves etched deep into the clubface interior allowing the full face to produce greater flex for added distance. Duel Speed Technology works to increase ball speed and swing speed simultaneously. This results from a heavier clubhead and a lightweight shaft working in unison creating a multiplier effect to produce more force. XXIO’s very own Weight Plus Technology positions mass under the grip behind the hands to help all golfers produce consistent golf swings from club to club. This proprietary design makes it easier to find the ideal position at the top of the golf swing for a more consistent downswing.
XXIO 12’s suite of Woods is supported by three common technologies. ActivWing aerodynamically balances the clubhead early in the downswing. This feature creates lift and delivers the club to its optimal impact angle generating maximum speed and distance. Flat Cup Face technology improves the ability of the clubhead to impart greater energy transfer to the golf ball at impact. This produces increased ball speed and distance across the entire clubface—even miss-hit strikes! And, XXIO Woods have been designed with a thinner and lighter crown. The weight savings allowed engineers to reposition mass to lower the center of gravity thereby increasing forgiveness.
XXIO 12 Drivers feature 6-Segment Bulge and Roll Technology to produce shot correction to the longest part of your game. To enable straighter drives, engineers designed the clubface into six areas each with its own variable ‘Bulge and Roll’. This allows the face to impart the correct spin to keep you ball on your intended line, no matter where you strike the shot on the clubface. And, XXIO Drivers are tuned for exceptional sound with Sound Ribs resonating the perfect pitch from every shot.
XXIO 12 Fairway Woods and Hybrids contain a Cannon Sole and Step Crown. The Cannon Sole improves the performance of shots struck low on the clubface due to a floating weight pad that optimises launch and increases face flex. The Step Crown head shape design delivers face flex and promotes a lower center of gravity making it easier to produce soaring ball flight.
XXIO 12 Irons contain a number of key technologies to amplify the performance of the ‘approach game’. XXIO engineers attended to the detail of every iron in the bag to achieve unmatched performance, starting with Optimised Center of Gravity by Loft Technology. This involves variable face thickness for each iron to deliver optimal speed and launch. Long irons are designed with a lower center of gravity to enable longer carry. Short irons contain a higher center of gravity for better control. Loft Specific Grooves is another feature of this ultra-premium iron range. With loft increasing throughout the shorter irons, engineers etched groves deeper and closer together to produce more spin and therefore enhance stopping power and control into the green. A high-density tungsten-nickel weight is positioned in the toe of the 5-iron through 7-iron for added stability at impact. Iron faces are constructed with a High-Strength Super-TIX-51AF Titanium faceplate for more flexibility and increased ball speed. And, XXIO 12 Irons feature a shortened hosel to lower the center of gravity for higher and straighter ball flight.
