The cost savings were large, freight from the USA has always been costly and there was a 15% Government duty on all made up sets. These factors as well as the time savings for customers, made assembling in Australia the only way to go.Cougar Australia have been assembling clubs in Australia ever since and in the past 20 years have made over 100,000 custom sets of clubs. With the development of modern club making equipment, Cougar Golf has risen to a higher level of accuracy than ever before, with very low tolerance on all weights, lofts and lies.
