Jaws Raw Wedges

Callaway recognises the value of the short game in lowering golf scores. That’s why the industry-leading brand uses the artistry of Roger Cleveland to craft clubs to better your wedge play. The legendary wedge designer has created some of the most popular wedges in golf for more than 40 years. Callaway Jaws Raw is his latest creation—it’s a new suite of wedges that offers pure spin and performance in its rawest form. The line up includes the Pitch, Gap, Sand and Lob Wedges. Each wedge has been carefully built to enhance their individual performance benefits.

Callaway states Jaws Raw is a total spin machine. And, it all begins with razor sharp grooves. These wedges promote a ‘one hop and stop’ bite on the greens to take spin and control to new levels. Callaway has removed the plating on the face with a new raw face to allow rusting over time. This promotes a more direct connection between the ball and the face at impact. The premium-looking wedges feature Offset Groove-in-Groove Technology, which positions the milled micro-grooves at a 20-degree angle for more spin in the short game.

Jaws Raw is the first wedge Callaway has developed with tungsten engineering. The sand and lob wedges are crafted with tungsten to improve the weight balance for better control and feel. Callaway has adopted variable length hosels to improve forgiveness and control ball flight.

Jaws Raw features four updated grinds including the all-new Z Grind with low bounce. Cleveland developed the Z Grind to offer more forgiveness by shaping wedges with an aggressive leading edge design to improve turf interaction. This shaping allows the club to skid across the turf, rather than dig into it for better ball striking and distance control on chip and pitch shots. The comprehensive line up includes Callaway’s standard S Grind, wide sole W Grind and high bounce X Grind. There are 17 loft/ bounce options per finish, which includes Raw Face Chrome and Raw Black Plasma.
