2023 Pro V1 & Pro V1x Golf Balls

The No. 1 ball in golf just got better! Welcome to the 2023 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x—the latest generation of tour-validated models feature improved core technology to set a new standard in golf ball performance.

The 2023 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x achieved instant success on tour with Ireland’s Seamus Power claiming the PGA Tour’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship in late October after switching to the new ball one week earlier. Power was notably excited about the new Pro V1x, “It’s been excellent. I tested all week and loved it. It felt great off the tee with a little bit extra heat. If anything, I under spin my irons, so I’ve got that little bit extra spin [moving to Pro V1x]. I didn’t give up anything around the green. it was an easy change for me”.

The new high-gradient core design is the center feature of 2023 Pro V1 and Pro V1x technologies. Pro V1 boasts an all-new reimagined core while Pro V1x contains a dual core. Both constructions contain gradual firmness levels and are built firmer on the outside and progressively softer on the inside. This design promotes faster ball speeds and low long game spin for longer distance and a more consistent flight paired with drop and stop greenside control. Both models include speed amplifying high-flex casing layers. The casing layers work together with the high-gradient core to lower excessive spin, while uniting with the soft cast urethane cover to offer superior greenside performance. 2023 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls are covered using Titleist’s very own thermoset process. The proprietary method is vital in producing the consistency of the urethane cover and therefore the ultimate player performance. This process includes two components being mixed. The resulting liquid urethane is cast into Titleist-manufactured cavities with precise timing of the curing process to form the appropriate dimple pattern into the cover. Both models contain spherically-tiled tetrahedral dimple designs to deliver longer and more consistent ball flight. Pro V1 contains is optimised with a 388-dimple pattern. Pro V1x uses a 348-dimple design to allow a higher launch.

2023 Pro V1 is ideally suited to golfers seeking a penetrating ball flight with low long game spin and more distance. The new Pro V1x best caters the needs of players looking for a higher flight and more spin.

The most trusted golf balls in the game are available in white and high optic yellow options.
