T-Series Black Irons
Titleist introduces limited edition T-Series Black irons—T100, T100•S and T200. The stylish clubs feature an all-black Titanium Carbide Vapour finish, offering a new look to the brand’s most advanced iron ever. The sleek-looking models include True Temper AMT Black, AMT Tour White and Project X LZ shafts that have an onyx powder coat finish. The smart-looking set-up is complete with All-black Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips.
T-Series Black irons are engineered with an improved heat-treated binding process, which delivers a tour-inspired look with a durable, long-lasting finish.
Australia’s very own Cameron Smith is just one of the many on tour who advocate in high praise of T100 Black Irons. “I love the finish,” said Smith, who has recorded multiple victories with his T100 Black models in the bag including THE PLAYERS and The Open Championship at St. Andrews. “The new black finish is a little bit more durable – they’ve definitely stood the test of time. I just like how they look. I think they look a little bit smaller. This lets me narrow in a little bit more and obviously the less glare and stuff like that off the sun, helps that a lot.”
T100 is the ultimate modern tour iron boasting optimal precision, versatility and feel. The most played model on the PGA Tour is a fully forged model that contains dense D18 tungsten weights to allow maximum control of the center of gravity placement. It’s tour-contoured sole and variable bounce designs are crafted to deliver ideal turf interaction.
T100•S is built with added speed. The faster tour iron retains the same forged construction and dense D18 tungsten weights as T100, with 2-degree stronger lofts and a new Muscle Channel. Engineers used weight savings from the added Muscle Channel to produce an even lower center of gravity location for improved launch conditions.
T200 is crafted as a tour-ready distance iron. The compact player-preferred profile includes a shorter blade length and thinner topline than its predecessor. T200 is built with a multi-material, hollow body to deliver consistent distance and launch. Max Impact technology and forged L-Face inserts combine to produce a solid feel and create speed on off-center strikes.
