Min Woo Lee

2021 abrdn Scottish Open

Australian Min Woo Lee collected his biggest career victory after winning the abrdn Scottish Open at The Renaissance club in North Berwick. It was the 22-year-old’s first Rolex Series title and second European Tour victory.

The young Western Australian overcame a star-studded field, which features Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy.

Lee amassed 25 birdies and one eagle in regulation play for the week before making the winning birdie at the first playoff hole to outlast Thomas Detry and Matt Fitzpatrick. His birdie blitz included a string of six consecutive birdies with his trusty Odyssey White Hot model putter on the front nine on Sunday to move in contention.

With his win, Lee moved to 7th in the Race to Dubai standings.
