2021/22 THE CJ CUP
Rory McIlroy fired a stunning 6-under 66 final round to win THE CJ CUP in Nevada. The 32-year-old posted 25-under to beat Collin Morikawa by one shot.
McIlroy produced his 20th PGA Tour win after firing rounds of 68, 67, 62 and 66 at The Summit Club, Las Vegas. The four-time major winner led the 78-man field in Score Gained: Putting (6.028). The long-hitting Northern Irishman was 4th in the field for Driving Distance averaging 321.2 yards off the tee. McIlroy was back to his ball-striking best over the weekend, finding 31 out of 36 greens in regulation. He was ranked 2nd in the field over the four rounds in Scrambling (88.89%).
With his win, McIlroy moves to 4th position in the 2021/22 FedExCup standings.
